Tai Sin Electric Cables Manufacturer Limited (“Tai Sin”) was incorporated as a private limited company on the 4th of January 1980. Eighteen months later, in July 1981, production began in a new factory in the Jurong Industrial Estate of Singapore.
In January 1999, Tai Sin set up its second cable manufacturing plant in Malaysia under Tai Sin Electric Cables (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
First listed on SESDAQ, the second board of the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in 1998, the company has since then expanded its operations and showed exceptional growth and excellence over the past 10 years, thus enabling its promotion to the Main Board of the SGX in 2005.
In November 2007, the company's name was changed from "Tai Sin Electric Cables Manufacturer Limited" to "Tai Sin Electric Limited" to better reflect the diverse range of business activities that it has acquired over the past years.
With continued strong regional demand, a joint venture company called Dien Quang – Tai Sin Cable Company Limited was established in Vietnam in September 2007 to manufacture electric cables of all kind for domestic consumption and export markets.
Our technological and innovation capability, conformance with world manufacturing standards, together with our deep involvement with our customer requirements have enabled us to manufacture and market high quality products.
Tai Sin markets and sells through a distribution network serving a diverse range of industries. Throughout its history, the company had won major electrical cables supply contracts for both local and overseas building and construction projects existing in the private and public sectors.
