Located in the new Central Business District, Marina Bay, Asia Square is comprised of twin towers, Asia Square Tower 1 and Asia Square Tower 2. These towers are used for office space, retail space, as well as a 280-room hotel and “The Cube”. “The Cube” is a 100,000 square feet space used to host public exhibitions and performances. Being environmentally friendly, Asia Square has the largest photovoltaic cells installation on the roof in Singapore. It is also the first commercial development that has a bio-diesel generation plant. Asia Square has received accolades for its efforts in environment sustainability. It has UV emitter-equipped air handling units to sanitise surfaces. The building also uses less water and energy, as compared to other commercial building. Furthermore, its office space is also designed to house multiple teams and promote teamwork and collaborations. Asia Square Tower 1 has 43 floors. The hotel occupies the 32nd to 46th floors of the tower. Asia Square Tower 1 offers approximately 1.3 million square feet of Grade A office space. The tower has an impressive tenant list of multinational corporations such as Citi, Google, Julius Baer, and so on. On the other hand Asia Square Tower 2 has 46 floors. It also houses office spaces, retail as well as commercial purposes. The two towers are located near MRT stations such as Raffles Place, Marina Bay, and Downtown. The development was completed in 2013.
