Baxter Singapore Manufacturing Facility

August 7, 2014 was the official opening of the company’s first advanced recombinant biologic production facility in Singapore. It is located at Woodlands Industrial Park, occupying 150,000 square feet. ADVATE, a type of protein used in the treatment of haemophilia, is produced in this facility. It employs more than 400 people. Baxter also plans on opening a second processing suite, which is expected to open in 2017. Baxter’s expansion reinforces Singapore’s position as a leading biologics hub.
