In 2007, Lonza opened its Singapore branch. It was a joint venture with the Singapore government’s Economic Development Board (EDB). Lonza Singapore is in charge of providing monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins. It also provides sales support for Lonza Life Science Ingredients – Nutrition and Microbial Control, as well as Lonza Bioscience Cell Biology and Rapid Testing groups. In 2009, Lonza Singapore became wholly owned by Lonza Group Ltd.

Lonza Biologics Tuas Pte Ltd has 330 employees. It produces biopharmaceutical products and at the same time operates Lonza Microbial Control Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, a branch that provides sales and marketing support for Lonza’s business. It also runs Lonza BioSciences in the Asia Pacific, a manufacturer for cellular-based therapeutics for clinical applications. Lonza Biologics Tuas Pte Ltd has a datacentre that is comprised of eight physical servers.
