South Beach Residences

Located at the heart of the Downtown area, South Beach Residences is a luxurious development that comprises of hotels, restaurants, retail outlets, offices and residential units. Covering an area of 376,296 square feet, the development will include two skyscrapers. Completed in 2016, the North tower (34 storeys) houses a luxury hotel called The South Beach, while the South tower (45 storeys) has 500,000 square metre of office space, 37,000 square metre of retail space, a 29,000-square metre private club, and 190 residential units. South Beach Residences is designed by Foster + Partners and Adeas Pte Ltd. It offers a panoramic view of the Marina Bay area, Central Business District, and Orchard Shopping Area. A unique eco feature, microclimatic canopy, runs through the entire structure to harvest rainwater and produce electricity via solar energy. The feature also acts as natural shelter for pedestrians. Continuing the “city in a garden” ideal, South Beach Residences has two sky gardens, designed by world famous designer, Philippe Starck. The architectural design also helps to reduce heat absorption, energy and water reduction. It has won two Green Mark Platinum Awards.
