Since the launch in March 2009, GlobalFoundries has become the world’s first full service semiconductor foundry with a global footprint. With operations in the US, Germany and Singapore, it is the first semiconductor foundry that can provide the flexibility and security of having manufacturers across three continents. In 2012, GlobalFoundries announced “Vision 2015”, a long-term strategic initiative that included the expansion of its 300mm manufacturing center in Singapore.
